Two sea creatures, an octopus and a fish, emerge in all their symbolic force on either side of this mug. Companions of Neptune's legendary journey to the abyss, they stand out against the Terracotta colored background, embellished by threading in pure gold. An elegant contrast is created with the wavy Sky Blue pattern that runs along the edge of the mug, recalling the fluid movement of sea waves. This soft and refined color palette is inspired by the tones of Greek ceramics and Mediterranean summers, which, with the light and shadow of coastal landscapes, influences the creative vision of artist Luke Edward Hall.
